I am hoping to see the West provide significant support against the North Korean troops who just arrived. Send a message that any foreign troops will be targeted hard to deter further escalations by other rogue states.

Anything that gets Putin sideways with Kim Jong Un is a good thing. The North Korean troops just melting away might do that. I suspect there isn't a lot of mutual trust between Russian soldiers and North Korean soldiers anyway. Decreasing that trust will also be a good thing.
