Works for me. Snell has formally opted out. Maybe we get Walker Buehler. We'll see if the new GM wants to continue the short-term deals with opt out options.

Posey is calling the shots. The new GM will follow his lead. As for the idea of offering one year deals with opt-outs, Buster is on the record as opposing that strategy. I think we have already seen the last one.  

Soto is not coming to SF.  There is no need to even think about the possibility.  He is a New York/LA type of free agent.  

The Giants NEED hitters.  They need a 2B who can get hit for average along with a franchise hitter who can drive in runs.  As for pitching, Snell didn’t contribute much in ‘24.  Pick up a guy who can slot into the 3rd or 4th spot in the rotation and the pitching will be solid.
