Very easy win 5-0 win and it should have been worse. On the one hand UCSB offered nothing with the ball - minimal possession and 0 shots on goal. Really the only danger was the ball bouncing around a bit in the Stanford box once each half. But on the other the women have struggled to beat mediocre teams 1:0 on a regular basis this year; so the offense was a welcome sight.

That said in the remaining games, Stanford won’t be able to keep the opposition bottled up like yesterday for the entire game. UCSB could barely cross midfield. The defense will get tested next game.

Next opponent TBD today. Rutgers or UConn.
