After so many years of excellence, I think fans are having a hard time with the realization that we are a very average team this year (and that might even be a little generous; we'll see how the rest of the season goes).
As far as our next game goes, Clemson just beat a team (Cal) by double digits that we lost to by double digits. So while comparative scores aren't always terribly meaningful, I'd say we are in for a very tough outing.
A little early to give up, but the last few games haven't been very encouraging.
