I'll take that as a challenge because, anecdotally, it does seem like there are many more male founders than female founders.
Might be more common to see Stanford women chosen to lead significant existing companies, like HP (Fiorina) or Yahoo (Mayer).
Anyway, the founder of Evite is a female Stanford alumna, circa my time on campus.
I'm sure members of this board can add a bunch.
