Given the amount of American farmland that the Chinese have purchased (about 347,000 acres) I wonder if they would participate in the pre-war negotiation and post-war "rebuilding" of Ukraine through purchasing Ukrainian wheat farms, either fallow or underproducing? I know Ukraine has returned to about 90% of pre-war levels...I wonder if they would welcome the investment? After all, China is Ukraine's largest trading partner (about $19.3 billion in 2021) and Ukraine was one of the earliest supporters of China's Belt and Road initiative.
