Ukraine may be getting a new influx of Ukrainian citizens. There's a program called 'Humanitarian Parole' which allows citizens from various countries, including Ukraine, to enter and stay in the United States. It's possible that this will be revoked, but that hasn't been decided yet.
If the program is revoked, then it's doubtful that most of the Ukrainians would return to Ukraine if other countries will accept them. But some of the 240,000 would return there, for various reasons.
