A belated post, but I think there is only one answer on who a coach should play and that is the 5 players that give us the best chance to win a particular game. Generally, that is probably the same group from game to game, but there are always situations where a certain matchups make a change wise, and other times when a team may have a strong "glue" player, who maybe not in the top 5 makes the other four so much better that person should also start. Freshman have to earn their minutes in practice. Having the most talent doesn't necessarily mean that player should always start, experience and chemistry make a big difference. This year's team seems to be such that the Frosh are going to get their minutes regardless, but it remains to be seen. The players are going to play a lot of basketball between now and the season, there is bound to be some improvement for most and maybe significant for others. We will just have to wait and see.
