Indeed the O was a necessary part of the triad. Each of them had their own atmosphere with both plusses and minuses. IMO the O had by far the "best" food. However the Goose deviled eggs and chili was uniquely enjoyable. The Chili recipe has changed over the years. Right now, IMO it is not as flavorful as it needs to be.
 
Zott's used to be a place for a burger and a pitcher with friends. The "new" Zott's is more upscale. It is making lots of money, but IMO it is still trying to figure out what it will be going forward. Does it want to compete with the Goose, Buck's, Parkside Grille, or Flea Street Cafe?

Zott's seems to be trying to carve out a different space than any of those places.  It is the only one where I see kids and seems to be trying to be a local gathering place for the whole family.  The Goose, Buck's, Parkside Grille, or Flea Street Cafe are pretty much adults only.
