I've been thinking about my father-in-law recently, a great guy with multiple Stanford degrees in Aeronautical Engineering. He worked for NASA for years, worked on the Mercury and Gemini missions. He consulted with the Fairchild Republic design team on the A-10 Thunderbolt / Warthog.

I seem to recall reading that Ukraine asked for 100 old A-10s. Did we ever approve and deliver those?
