for most of each game, stanford usually plays one pg, 2 wings, and 2 forward/posts though that can vary with the opponent; and, i suppose, kate may eventually stray from tara's approach.
I think we may see three PGs (Hailee, Chloe and Shay) in at the same time on occasion this year.
Regarding the earlier comments about Kennedy, there was one clip from a scrimmage earlier in the summer that showed Kennedy with an impressive spin move as she was driving toward the basket from the FT line. Very impressive stuff. I looked and couldn’t find it, but I’ll look some more. That and a couple of other snippets of video have me thinking she is a lot more aggressive, confident, fluid and nimble this year.
Here is the spin move (with a nice lefty finish too!) from Kennedy Umeh about 43 seconds in. I can’t imagine her attempting anything remotely like that last year.
