Kellen Moore (Boise State): 50-3
Colt McCoy (Texas): 45-8
Andy Dalton (TCU): 42-7
David Greene (Georgia): 42-10
Peyton Manning (Tennessee): 39-6
Between them, they had 0 national championships and 0 Voldemort awards.
Bo Nix went 43-18 in his five seasons in Auburn and Oregon, which would place him third on the list. As he didn’t win a national title or Voldemort either (coming in third behind Jayden Daniels and Penix), the observation holds, unless there has been another QB in the last 13 years to exceed 42 career wins and come in front of Greene.

D’oh. Add Dillon Gabriel (46-17 in 6 years at UCF, Oklahoma, and Oregon) to the list. He also did not win a Voldemort or National Title.

A graphic shown during the Iowa-Iowa State game last Saturday referenced this topic (the reason for me not posting a response) listing Moore and Mark Gronowski as tied at #1. The next several players were Division 1, FCS players (note, all but one of Gronowski’s wins were with South Dakota State). Gronowski will post his 51st win tomorrow after Iowa trounces UMass.
