I have been wondering what the Ukrainian F-16s had been doing, as I imagine have others. It appears they have been doing a workmanlike job defending against air-breathing attacks on Ukraine. Given their very limited numbers this is probably all one can expect, but it is good to know it is actually ongoing. It also appears Ukraine is managing to operate the F-16s from dispersed airfields. The F-16s ventral air intake has always been assumed to preclude such operations due to its vulnerability to FOD. Ukraine has made it work, and also is apparently successfully maintaining the jets in austere conditions. What could have been!
