NCAA released its in-season top 16. Stanford is 11th. They have not defeated any of the other top 16 teams so far this season, but they will still have a shot against Pitt (at home), Louisville (at Louisville) and SMU (at home). Sure would have loved to have defeated Texas.

I think the ranking at 11 seems fair. We will have opportunity to move up with big games still ahead and "if" we had beaten Texas or Louisville would likely have been in the top 8. Interestingly, we are ranked much higher in the weekly polls, currently at #5 in the country. The committee ranking is all that matters in the end.
