Parks setting location is horrible.  Just horrible, horrible, horrible.  The hitters have no idea where the set will be. Stanford's hitting percentage the first set was amazing considering the setting.  Just imagine what the pin players could do with decent setting.

I DON'T understand why Yu is not given more opportunity. She was the starting setter to start the year and I think most of us would agree the offense and setting looks much more fluid when she's in the game running the offense. Parks is incredibly inconsistent.

We started the season in a 6-2, so both Yu and Parks started the season setting.  As we switched to a 5-1, Parks got the nod over Yu as the sole setter.

Hambly to start the season,  “Yeah, it looks like she’ll set,” Hambly said of Yu. “I think she’s our best pure setter right now."

I didn't like the 6-2 so going with one setter has proven to be the better option. If we alternate Blyshov and Kurt at OH, why not alternate setters from time to time. This team's ceiling is not that high in the postseason without really good setting. Right now, it's way too inconsistent. Will see how the next couple weekends go with SMU, Pitt, and UNC. I hope Parks proves me wrong. If setting stays inconsistent, we could realistically go 0-3 in those games despite being at home.
