Parks setting location is horrible.  Just horrible, horrible, horrible.  The hitters have no idea where the set will be. Stanford's hitting percentage the first set was amazing considering the setting.  Just imagine what the pin players could do with decent setting.

I DON'T understand why Yu is not given more opportunity. She was the starting setter to start the year and I think most of us would agree the offense and setting looks much more fluid when she's in the game running the offense. Parks is incredibly inconsistent.

I didn't see much of today's match, just reading about it.  The only rationale I've heard for sticking with Parks is that Hambly considers her the setter of the future.  And I guess he's OK with her learning on the job.

At least three of Stanford's pre-conference opponents were upset today:  Texas, Florida, and Missouri. That hurts the RPI.
