Let’s just say that concussion protocols are unpredictable and that the timing of return to activities is highly variable.  Given the NCAA’s concussion protocols, which has 6 steps before unrestricted return to sport, each of which happens at an interval of 24 hours, it is very unlikely that anyone in the concussion protocol would be participating in competition within a week.

So, almost certainly out for Big Game Wednesday (unless the diagnosis was overturned), very likely out for away game at Cal on Sunday (technically, this would be the earliest she could be back if she proceeds through the protocol without any issues whatsoever).  Conceivably back for Georgia Tech or Louisville, but given the variable nature of recovery, very possible that her recovery will be longer, and, in fact, could leave her out for the rest of the year.
