Stevenson was on the court to play defense and rebound.  Yes she got beat a few times one on one but she was generally in the right position to contest and get a rebound.  In the first half Eschmeyer really struggled with screens/switches which lead to open layups for FGCU.  I’m hopeful that Eschmeyer will get better at the team defense concepts and learn where she should be as I think she is a much better one one one defender than Stevenson.  But she isn’t there yet.
