Here's something hard to believe at the moment for me.  We'll see.

2. Stanford Cardinal
Stanford tied for the ACC championship and did it with 14 freshmen and sophomores on the roster. Top hitter Elia Rubin will be tough to say goodbye to, but the Cardinal will have the depth and talent to win their first national title since 2019.

Obviously polls this far out matter zero. Actually, as long as you make the tournament, all polls matter zero.

That said it does seem like a lazy ranking - count the players coming back and figure in the tournament success this year and presto! you have rankings! I hope they are right, but….
