I think for anyone hoping that this was somehow a catalyst to a free and Democratic Venezuela, things are off to an inauspicious start.

So, the rightfully elected leader of Venezuela, Edmundo González is not in either Trump’s nor the regime’s plans, and Nobel Peace Prize winner and leader of the opposition Maria Corina Machado was dismissed as “very nice woman [who] doesn’t have the support within or the respect within the country”.
