He made foul calls that he was not in position to see if contact was made or not. A couple of times, there wasn’t contact. When he was in position and there was contact, he often swallowed his whistle. I think Chuck is an average referee, not great, not horrible. As another poster remarked about Brenda Pantoja, it was interesting that she ref’d a Tennessee - Louisville game in Brooklyn, then was at Chase the next day refereeing the Stanford game. I didn’t like some of the calls in that game, but overall, I think she is a good referee.
Definitely not among the worst, and definitely consistent. Biased in favor of guards, but otherwise has a "let 'em play" attitude. But very, very consistent. If you see her on your floor, you definitely know what you can get away with and what you can't. Depending on our personnel, I love to see her do our games, or hate it.
