The other QB in 1986 was Babe Laufenberg who was on the Saints roster. Collectively in the 1980s, six Stanford alum QBs had 23 seasons with at least one winning start. At the other extreme, in the aughts, Trent Edwards was the only one with winning starts (2007-2009).
