There are five NFL head coaches who were first-ballot NFL Hall of Fame members. Famously, six-time Super Bowl winner (most by two wins) Bill Belichick was not among them. 

Who are the five? Hint: They were the #8, #10, #18, #31, and #44 head coaches in terms of career winning percentage.

Tom Landry, Chuck Noll, and Don Shula were first ballot. George Halas and Curly Lambeau were in the inaugural class.

Neither Vince Lombardi nor Bill Walsh were first ballot, so I don't think anyone needs to get their panties in a bunch about Belichick. He'll get in.

John Madden had to wait decades before he got in, and he has the highest winning percentage of any coach to coach at least 100 games. Had to wait until 2006
