Fisk is interesting. Rookie of the year in his third year in MLB, became only the second catcher to lead the league in triples, Tim McCarver was the other in 1965 and Giant Hall of Famer Buck Ewing in 1884. Understandable in Ewing's case, he played at the Polo Grounds where it was 483 feet to the alleys, and it was the first year that pitchers were allowed to throw overhand.
McCarver and Fisk share one other interesting record...both played in four different decades, as did four other catchers, including Rick Dempsey.
