Your 2022 inflation numbers are not comparable.  That same article shows the US 2024+2025 food price inflation figures as 2.3% + 2.8%, or about 5.1% for the same 2-year 18+% grocery increase documented in Russia. 

Using 2022 food price inflation is like using 2020 mortality numbers. If someone doesn’t remember, here’s the USDA info on 2022
