Per the (gifted) Economist article, Russia captured 0.83% of Ukranian territory in 2025. Since they have just about 20% of Ukranian territory, at this pace they should control all of Ukraine in 96 years. Yeah, I know it doesn’t work that way, but it does suggest that they can hold out longer than 73 year old Vladimir Putin.
