Exactly. I hate this anxiety. I hope everyone is committed and maybe 3rd year is the charm for Kate and well entire program at this time. 

Now to sweat it out for the next 47 days.

It's so easy to see how INSANELY GOOD this same group could be next year.

Congratulations to the players who did everything their coaches asked of them.  Their energy and optimism (even during that bad ACC losing streak) is to be admired.

But this game and the result is a reflection of a sub-par season for Stanford, most of which is attributed to coaching.
1)-No inside game.
2)-Several times the announcers noted that Stanford "was settling" (for outside shots)
3)-On many occasions, ill advised one on one drives to the basket (which the announcers also noted)
4)-Badly outrebounded (30-46)
5)-Points in the paint discrepancy (28-40)
6)-Stanford did not adjust defense to better contain Ra Shaya Kyle (10 of 12 FG).
7)-Stanford's attempts to screen were ineffective.

I have no inside information about any Stanford player, including the 3 top freshmen, planning to enter the portal, but I would not be surprised if one or two go.

I hope for your sake, the fans sake (who demand much more) and especially for the players' sake (though they must be fiercely loyal) that this will be the last game Kate Paye coaches for Stanford, but I have a feeling that your AD will give her another season.  If that happens, I worry that Stanford's playmaking will stay pretty much the same; that the 7 critical factors (described above) will repeat themselves, and even with player improvement the results will not be that much different.
