There are 10 freshmen in the ACC who played at least 50% of available minutes on their teams; two of them (including the top and fifth highest percent minutes played) were Swain and Somfai.  None of the top 6 teams in the ACC by Bart Torvik's rating (Duke, Louisville, North Carolina, Notre Dame, NC State, or Virginia Tech) feature a freshman who plays 50% of available minutes let alone 2.  Two other teams in the conference feature two players who were on the court at least 50% of the time: Wake Forest and Boston College, who were a combined 5-31 in conference.
