Didn't get to see the game, but I suppose maybe that's a blessing.
I found myself not at all worked up heading into today, as the conference tourneys have teams playing with such wildly uneven motivation that it's hardly an honest way to separate those on the bubble.
Today, two teams had all the motivation in the world, and the lead changed nine times in the second half. Maybe Stanford didn't play its best, but the guys showed some resilience after being down.
In the end, maybe Stanford just isn't good enough to go on a five game winning streak. Maybe the ACC is only deserving of eight bids, though I'm told that number is not supposed to be a factor for the committee.
No reason for this Stanford team in particular to hang their heads, imo, and if this was Okorie's last game in a Stanford uniform I wish him well in whatever he does next.
