Thanks for the heads up for us all
The scores bounce around too much for me to understand the significance. In 5 minutes Stanford went from -14 to -8 to +4.
Ah.... a stable point. Going into the final rotation, Stanford is up by 2.4(NB), 2.87 (OK), and 3.0 (MI) over the next 3 teams. But I don't know the expected point differential on those team's scoring on each's last rotation.
In any case, Go Stanford.
Ah... looks like ESPN is showing the qualifying scores of each team on their final apparatus. If those scores were repeated, Stanford would win by less than a point. So it is still too close to call. Stanford on the rings. OK on the vault.
(I can't judge quality of the performance other than talk of the landing)
First OK guy stuck his landing. 14.200
First Stanford guy was good in the air but had a weak landing. 13.633
Second OK guy took a step 14.133
Second Stanford guy had a little step 13.100
Third OK guy hops on landing.
Third Stanford guy sticks a great routine. 14.166
Fourth OK guy sticks his landing
Fourth Stanford guy has a small hop.
