Agree, would it have killed them to include more event narrative and a few of the clips posted to MGym's X page? (thanks for posting them in the natty thread, BC)

I’m no fan of the gostanford website, and often find the coverage of various sports wanting, but I would venture to say that, if keeping the streak going- and, especially, hitting the 50-year mark - wasn’t your first thought upon hearing about (or seeing on ESPN2) the win, you are probably one of only a handful…

Oh, don't get me wrong - the Streak was definitely foremost on my mind. I'm class of '78 and knew a couple of guys on the '76 MWP team, which stated this whole thing off, so I'm thrilled it's continuing. GoStanford's weekend coverage of non-revenue sports is just pretty p**s-poor to me, is all, and this was not just any ROM event.
