Stanford and USC have separated from the rest of the field. I predict that they will be the only 2 teams under par by the end of today.

Stanford was led today by Meja Ortengren. Her 68 (-4) has tied her for the overall lead. Megha Ganne shot 71 (-1) and is one shot back. Paula Martin Sampedro shot 71 and Andrea Revuelta was even par 72. Kelly Xu was the drop score with 75. 

Stanford gets the afternoon off before returning for tomorrow's 3rd round when they will once again be off 1st at 6:30 am. The NCAA committee gives the top 15 teams a major advantage over the bottom 15 for round 3 by giving the top 15 the morning tee times. The bottom 15 teams after tomorrow's round will be cut and will not play round 4.
