Special teams, B+, Blocked punt/safety was a major play.  Charlie Eckhardt's blocked punt for a safety was not cosmetic. It helped Stanford take control early in the second half and contributed to the 23–7 advantage.

OTOH, a missed field goal, and then on the next drive we go for it from fourth and two from field goal range (a defensible decision, but one no doubt influenced by the miss).  That’s two trips deep into Hawaii territory that resulted in zero points, partly due to wobbly special teams play.
