Sounds like it will be tough to pull her to the west coast.

Miles' recruitment likely would be over if coach Courtney Banghart hadn't gone from Princeton to North Carolina.

"I would have gone there if she didn't leave," Miles said. "I wouldn't have committed there, but it would've had a very high chance because all my family wants to see me play."

On the other hand, the fact that she'd choose Princeton over top programs suggests she's very school-oriented, which bodes well for us. I can't think of the last time Princeton and, say, UConn were a recruit's finalists, but I do recall Marta Sniezek's final four was down to us, Princeton, Harvard, and Georgetown. If Miles has a similar set of schools in mind, our odds have to be decent. Not to mention she's already playing ball with Nerd Nation-esque specs.

I agree.  The Princeton choice suggests academics are very important.  And yes Princeton is nice but it also doesn’t offer any scholarships.  I think we have a decent shot.  I think UConn isn’t likely because of Bueckers and all the guards they already have.

Was reading a post on one of the other boards and the author implied that players who attend camps sponsored or run by Prospects Nation tend to get their rating "bumped  up" a little to assist in their recruiting
