The Cardinals called up Stanford's Tommy Edman a few weeks ago due to an injury to back-up infielder Jedd Gyorko. Last night, Edman had the game winning hit in the 9th inning, a pinch hit 3-run home run. A big moment for him.

For the season, Edman is hitting .278 (10 for 36) with 3 homers and .908 OPS. A nice start to his major league career.
