Note: I've removed the (-10) for picking against Stanford as there was some on the board who felt that this didn't make sense and I counted myself among them. If there is strong consensus that we should penalize people for picking against us (I mean, they should already feel pretty crappy going against all that is good and great and the light), then I will add that back in. I'm done paying attention to CFP implications for the Pac 12. The bottom line is that we'd stand a good chance with 1 loss, and no chance with 2 losses, regardless of strength of schedule. And the other point is that we haven't been remotely close to deserving consideration since 2015, so this team has quite a mountain to climb. The fact that I'm acknowledging this doesn't make me any less hopeful or fanatical about the dawn of a new season...
