Stated similarly earlier in the thread. Doesn't Stanford need to fix this for the players?

a trifecta? first, too many reps with too few bodies to spread them across. solution: recruit/sign more OL. second, transition to new S&C guy. had a period with no head as Turley was in limbo for a few months. solution: hopefully with the new hire. third, a year without a true head trainer. solution: we've hired a true head trainer (still not sure if Bernie was willing to pay market rate or not.)

I think we're seeing the long-term aftereffects of not filling that head trainer/rehab position a few seasons ago. Human physiology and performance doesn't change overnight, and the stress of football is unforgiving. Why the position wasn't filled immediately is beyond me.

Now that Turley's gone, it's up to Cullen Carroll (promoted to director of football sport performance this year) to right the ship. Might take a while :(
