For those keeping track of Stanford Tight Ends in the NFL, Kaden Smith has two touchdowns including the game winner.

Don't know if I actually posted it here, but I thought Dallas would roll Philly. Dallas is so talented that I wanted them to lose (of course, I pretty much always am good with the Cowboys losing). I don't envy either Seattle or SF having to beat the Cowboys in Jerry's World. And call me crazy, while the Eagles should win the division now . . . I wouldn't put it past them to lose to the Giants next weekend.
We shall see . . .

I had a brother in law from Plano, TX. Stanford grad, Marine pilot and a really great guy. But he, like many Texans, had a fixation on the Cowboys. He once told me that he felt that it was important for America that the Cowboys have a good team. Well, okay. I don't know that it's important for America that the 49ers have a good team (or important to Hades that the Raiders have a good team, heh heh) but the Republic should stand regardless.
For my son's second birthday, he sent him a full Troy Aikman jersey, complete with pads and a helmet. I waited until he had a full-on, full-scale temper tantrum meltdown in that uniform; then I took a picture and sent it to him with the inscription "Looks just like Troy Aikman..."
At any rate, it tickles me to no end that the Cowboys haven't been in the Super Bowl since 1996. Landry, Jimmie and Barry were their last great coaches...
