Related to gowns: it seems the UK ordered 400k PPE gowns from Turkey and fast-tracked their transport...only to discover that the gowns were not usable as they were not up to standard.

Given that the West Wing was loaded with people without face masks or social distancing for weeks I can't help but wonder how many more will have COVID19 now that at least one employee tested positive for the virus.

Fake news, alternative facts, lamestream media, hoax are all ways to deflect inconvenient truths, but the virus doesn't care about any of those things.   Just bounce around from host to host.  The closer they are the easier it will be to bounce to the next host.

I wouldn't want anyone to get COVID19, but it would be a helpful national wake-up call if those most inclined to dismiss the virus suddenly are sporting masks.   It will be a lot harder for most to claim COVID19 is little more than a typical seasonal flu if even the White House staff is running around in face masks in May and June.

Probably a few days from the potential exposure in question.   If the reports about the valet's interactions are accurate the tests over the weekend are likely key.

Based on this analysis, the numbers in NY at least, have not been significantly underreported.  Lots of other places have seen an excess of deaths not accounted for by COVID deaths.  But NY it is pretty much what you expect, which makes sense since Ny reports probable cases as COVID related even if there is no positive test.
