I taped and watched the whole thing. I've been critical of Haase for two years now but was impressed that we looked fairly organized and played with purpose. Iff Battie wasn'lt 5 for 5 (?) on 3's we could have won.  He couldn't repeat vs the Bruins tonight. Just watched some of UCLA-Col this eve and Col was down by 6 o so with 5 min to go. UCLA then pulled away.

Spencer Jones hit several threes, a couple over defenders and a couple on semi screens. Reynaud ws effective but didn't play a whole lot. Mountain air? This opened time for Kisunas who was at his best in two years, challenging shots without fouling and finishing offensively under the basket.

Ingram looks like baby Draymond bringing the ball up but his shot wasn't dropping. Delaire started with Ingram and Reynaud and looked lost the whole game. He might wonder what his role is. Angel is 75% improvd over last year. Stronger, more assertive and taking good shots and making them.

Stanford has never had EUTM in hoops program, at least from coaching ranks.  (Though I guess Bruce Pearl was an assistant here for a bit way back when). Actually, the current guy/staff are undoubtedly the closest thing we've had to EUTM on the hoops side. At least from this angle.

For head coaches, I'd say Haase is the closest.  That guy's (and his staff's) motor is going non-stop to try and better Stanford hoops.  The only guy personality-wise that approached Harbs' style, imo, was Bruce Pearl.  And he was an assistant at Stanford in early 80s.

I'm making no comments/recommendations/predictions on who should be Stanford's hoop coach down the road, though it would be great if Haase's teams made some post-season noise and he stuck around for a while.
