Oh, by the way, I took a look at the intentional foul called on USC with 6.1 seconds left in the game yesterday.  If that had been Oregon committing that today, it wouldn't have been called and it wouldn't have been the worst missed call. 
Here's one to review.  4Q 9:03, In front of Benny, OR#4 does a two-handed push to push Lepolo onto the back side of a screen and then breaks free.

The refs kept avoiding calling VanSlooten her 5th foul.  I wonder if the refs realize they hold Stanford to a higher bar on fouls.

Jeeez, Lepolo is so bad......NOT.

Yes her and Agnes made their shots this game. Nivar was uniquely bad at the things she had been good at in earlier games. It should not surprise you that I still don’t think Agnes or Lepolo play well together. And rebounding was strong because Tara sat Agnes and went back to the 3-post lineup. Hannah looked better rebounding this game and I hope it continues but it was bad vs Utah and 95% of other games she has been in (I still have nightmares of Nika Muhl securing two critical putback shots plus And-1(5 pts) in that low scoring UConn game because Hannah could not box her out). Regardless of whether or not Lepolo and Agnes can make their *wide open* shots game to game (I hope they continue to do so), our offense is still ANEMIC. I cannot convince you since you see a couple of 3s made by each but you don’t see the massive amount of points this “good defensive lineup” gives up. Or their inability to make plays off the dribble or move without the ball or make on time on target passes. You just see makes or misses only.


 Stanford’s anemic offense this year is a combination of poor spacing, not enough shooters on the floor, dumb alignments generally (Ex.Fran, Haley, Kiki, Cam all out above the 3pt line like any sane opponent is following them and then trying penetrate in half gaps that are not open) and yes, the result of your starting point guard not recognizing passing windows (the one I mentioned in the Utah game is more egregious, but this one is more subtle and the subtle ones happen countless times per game and contribute to poor offense, 2nd, 9:46 (again this play may end with a made shot but with so little spacing on the floor, you have to hit these windows on time and on target. We need perimeter players with secondary passing vision that can not only see the play to Fran but can see the second play that leads to the easier shot by Cam).

My post was just reiterating Oregon’s first game summary. And so my assumption is that if Tara went with the same lineup and Oregon did respond with a box and 1 on Hannah (that happened again) then we would have trouble hitting 60 pts. I did not an anticipate an “efficient” offensive performance from Brink, and happy it happened. Because it has been awhile.

I am not picking on Lepolo no more than the other PAC-12 coaches “disrespected” her (as Tara said) by putting her on the same Honorable Mention list as Betts (her teammate that probably played 70-80% fewer minutes) even though Lepolo is the starting guard for the #1 seed. The other coaches watch hundreds of hours of tape and reached the same conclusion that I did in substantially fewer hours.

Just take the L on this one and consider not being such a jerk when you post.

Wait a minute, so making an All-frosh HM is now considered a slight rather than an honor?  Who knew?  Someone should tell all the SIDs out there not to act like that's a good thing when they post about it.  

At this point all I can think of is the old saying, "With friends like these, who needs enemies."  It is certainly amazing the team has managed to win 28 games with the lousy players and stupid coaches they have.  And wow, the other teams in conference who finished below Stanford, how bad and dumb must those players and coaches be?!?!?!   They should be embarrassed and those coaches fired for losing to team as inept as ours.

2. Oregon will get at least 20 offensive rebounds or more like the first game because we already know no combination of Agnes, Lepolo and Hannah helps on “defensive” rebounds )Brooke struggles too). No need to argue just isolate any of them vs Utah. 
3. Stanford guaranteed to score 60 pts or less because that lineup is just as offensively challenged as the one with Kiki. Agnes had her one good game vs ASU recently. Lepolo has her one good shooting game vs UCLA recently. I hope they can buck their own trend of shooting better game to game and not just every 4 or 5 games.
4. Bosgana and Brooke will need to come in and save them.
5. We’ll know Tara is not serious about winning this tourney

2. Oregon wound up with 15 offensive rebounds, which means we captured 70% (35/50) rebounds under the Oregon basket.
3. Stanford scored 76 points, and that's with Haley Jones struggling with her shooting (3/15).  Lepolo and Emma-Nnopu went a very respectable 5/12 overall (4/9 from 3) for 18 points combined.
4 .In 12 combined minutes, Bosgana and Demetre scored 0 points.
5. Maybe our three time national title winning coach actually knows a thing or two, and I think she is, in fact, serious about winning a title.

I almost wonder if the team's performance was deliberately trolling the haters.

Definitely agree with your excellent points except snput Oregon's D. They may not have played a full box and one, but I did notice on quite a few of our possessions, theyr were really packing it in with soemtimes 4 D players in the key.
