To even dream for a bowl, we need to knockoff Cuse Friday night.  We need three turnovers to do it.

In it was this sentence:
"Stanford looks to carry the momentum of its commanding victory over Cal Poly out east to tally its second win of the season."
Now I appreciate their sentiment. Their heart is in the right place.
But it kind of struck me as if our baseball team had sent out an email:
"Straight off of our crushing beatdown of the Sisters of Sorrow softball team, we move on to historic ACC conference play!"

Thanks for calling this out, Lefty.  I have often thought about how we might highlight a winner for each week's best nickname.  So many of you find exceedingly clever monikers and I want to find a way to reward that.  Since the inception of the predictions widget, Stanford football has been pretty grim.  Often it's this community's wit and creativity that has kept me going.
