I had a question for Bing's Co-Pilot. Here was the answer:
Quote: In the 2023 NCAA football season, Hawaii, Colorado, and Washington State share some interesting statistical similarities:
High Passing Yards: All three teams have a strong emphasis on their passing game. Washington State, for example, averaged 343.4 passing yards per game.
Struggles in Rushing Yards: These teams also faced challenges in their rushing offense. Washington State averaged only 93 rushing yards per game.
Defensive Challenges: They have had difficulties on the defensive side, allowing significant yardage and points to their opponents.
These commonalities highlight their offensive strategies and defensive vulnerabilities. Are you a fan of any of these teams?
For those who are actively blocking out memories of the 2023 football season, these three teams were the only victories on Stanford's schedule last year.
I posit that Stanford only has a chance in 2024 against teams with similar qualities (or lack of quality). Does Syracuse fit the bill?
High passing yards: Syracuse ranks 3rd in passing ypg (367.5).
Struggles in rushing yards: Syracuse ranks 77th in rushing ypa (4.19).
Defensive challenges: Syracuse ranks 107th worst in yards per play (6.17).
Stanford *definitely* has a chance to win this one outright, though I'm dismayed at the reported injuries on the Stanford defensive line.
