Same basic issue we have seen all year. Ogden and Nunu are about the only ones who can do anything against this caliber of defense. And of course Nunu is only just back and has not been a factor so far. The execution that works against mediocre to bad defenses just doesn’t cut it at this level. I don’t think a 1v1 star is going to suddenly appear; so they have to figure out something they can get done as a team offensively. Moving the ball faster would at least be a start. On the other hand, our defense has been very good mostly and is sorta keeping us in this so far.

Worst offensive quarter of the year.  We are a completely different team on the road than at home.  Not only are we losing, it is a boring, ugly game to boot.  I feel obligated to watch, but am certainly not enjoying the experience.

All that said, the game is not out of reach.  If we can make the right adjustments and come out with more energy, we could turn this around.  But not if we have another quarter like the 2nd.

Having Agara and Umeh in at the same time seemed to disrupt Clemson a bit.  Maybe Stanford can get that going.

We are definitely not winning the hustle 50:50 plays. Giving up 3 offensive boards leads to a wide open 3 for them. Thought we would play with much more intensity and effort considering we have a lot more to play for than Clemson and lost to them already this season. Team looks unengaged with poor coaching again. We’ve seen serval versions of this throughout the season at SMU, at Virginia.
