We are still perfect in ACC play this season...

When it comes to respect, have the fading Cardinal become an unwatchable Rodney Dangerfield in cleats? Maybe that's what a #96-with-an-arrow-down rating will do. Two-touchdown 'dogs to mighty Boston College? At the home-opener? Oy.

BC does have a QB we tried very hard to recruit. His stats have been very impressive so far. Not sure how much a difference that is going to make.

No change to 1) Gulbranson, 2) Elijah Brown. No "OR" typed in the spot.

I don't see any changes from BYU.
Not good: Stanford Red Zone Offense = 1 for 5. BC = 12 for 15.
We need 3 turnovers to pull the upset. At home.

could it be that Coach Reich is trying to trick Boston College into thinking he's starting Gulbranson?

We won't have a coach or GM who thinks like Harbaugh so it isn't going to happen, ever.
On another subject I am really disappointed in Andrew Luck. No one in the AD seems willing to talk about why Gulbranson instead of Brown in public. Why don't either the coach or the GM address this issue? They want people in the stadium, they want people buying tickets, so why can't this subject be addressed in public? I don't advocate throwing Gulbranson under the bus, I just think the few fans left deserve some sort of explanation why we are doing what we are doing.
Last year I made the 400 mile drive to go to an early season game, paid next to nothing to a scalper, and as soon as the game started moved from my endzone seat and sat with a friend on the 50 yard line. The stadium was for all practical purposes empty. How many people will really be willing to make the trek to see Saturday's game? Count me out. At my age I see no point in engaging in activities that foster depression.
That said, when round ball season starts, I might well be willing to make the drive and spend 5 days around Stanford and see two games.
It can't be news to either Luck or Reich that the natives are restless, so why not say something?

Because the only logical thing to say (unless there is an undisclosed injury) is that based on their evaluation, as bad as Gulbranson has been, Brown is worse, and you are just not going to throw a kid under the bus like that. If you were the coach, would there be any other reason you wouldn’t start Brown?
Whether the coach and GM are correct in their evaluation is TBD. But the clamor for Brown here, as best as I can tell, is based on two premises; a) Gulbranson has been awful in his first two games and b) Brown was a highly touted recruit. But those two facts don’t necessarily mean that Brown will perform better than Gulbranson.
