My main hope for this game is no new injuries. Go home & regroup for Elon. Beat them, to remind ourselves that we play better at home. Use that a confidence build for NCState. And hope it goes similar to our GTech win.

Let's mic up Andrew Luck at half...
"One play at a time, Guys"
"Keep matriculating the ball down the field"
"65 toss power trap could bust wide open"
Or not

The difference in talent between the two team is so wide. Seriously going to need to spend much more money than we have previously to attract better players out of the portal. Not sure we are willing to do that. If we don't, I'm not sure we can ever be competitive against these top teams.

So far, excellent punt yardage for Stanford.
4 Punts for 176 yards.
We lead in that category

I'm already sick of the sight of Tavita. This ineptitude is exactly what we feared, when he was hired.

One of the very worst teams in the history of the program, getting worse, and with zero hope for next year if they stay the course -- which they almost certainly will. So needlessly self-inflicted. So sad.
In 132 seasons, this is surely the program's darkest moment.
On the bright side, by the end of the day, there's a pretty good chance last week's game will no longer be the second worst in program history.

Watching this carnage, I can't help but think how it felt beating Notre Dame in 2017.
We embarrassed Brian Kelly (again), capping a 9-3 regular season en route to the Pac-12 title game. It was Stanford's seventh win over the Irish in nine games.
In that moment, we were every bit Notre Dame's peer.

The broadcast reminded me just a moment ago that Jason Garrett is one of the TV commentators. I can't help but wonder how the last 4 years would have gone, if we had hired him instead of the golem that Troy Taylor turned out to be......

Worst ever was 2003 - Notre Dame 57, Stanford 7. And that game was at Stanford.
Lately, Stanford really has not been competitive with ND (2022 notwithstanding). Almost every game has been a blowout.
