It is encouraging that she has applied and been accepted into a Stanford MA program. She is a Materials Science and Engineering major--it would be interesting to know if she is planning an MS in MSE or something else. She will be honored on Senior day and her parents, I'm told, will be coming out for it, so it sounds as if there is genuine uncertainty in their minds about next year.
