Sad news for this fan. I expect it is sad for the players too. But change happens and you move forward. 

Tara leaves on top.  I won’t second guess her, but she said all the right things this year that made it sound that she would continue coaching. 

I expect Tara will be asked to step into roles that facilitate women’s basketball or athletics, probably at the national level. (Jody Conradt did that after retiring.). I can see her doing that. 

I believe Kate will be a good coach in all aspects of the game. I hope she will keep the same, very high level of women as Tara choose and nurtured.
