The press conference, for understandable reasons, did not focus at all on the future of Stanford WBB.  That will come soon enough I presume with a Kate Paye press conference.  

Perhaps the most surprising thing for me was seeing the many times Tara became emotional, her voice cracking.  I've not seen her like that before.  Clearly she has enormous love for "the Stanford sisterhood."  It was also cool that Kiki was there and asked one of the questions!  I guess they give anyone press credentials these days ;)

She did indicate she was going to be around, perhaps as a coach of coaches, and advisor, and ambassador.  We certainly have not seen the last of Tara.
