It’s not just the travel these are Stanford students.  Their classes are on line, zoomed or recorded.  They are studying,  writing papers etc and traveling three time zones

Bob's point is well taken.  There might be an impact on how well they play basketball, but there absolutely must be an impact on their studies and their Stanford experience in general.  Lots of things being attempted to mitigate, no doubt.  Because they must--there is so much to mitigate.
