It’s Reunion weekend so I actually got to see a game in person. I had to move to get away from the FSU fans and right before kickoff about 15-20 of them surrounded me. One guy had the typical foghorn voice and spent the whole game yelling at the refs. And he missed the best part, leaving at the 5:00 mark when it seemed like we had it locked up. He actually made me miss $C fans.
Honestly I didn’t think either team deserved to win, but hey, thank you refs.
As bad as he might be at times, I’m not going to criticize Gulbranson anymore, now that I’ve seen Brown in action. And he might be more mobile than BG, but wow he’s pretty darn slow afoot himself.
I was surprised we didn’t think to put a spy on their QB #1 — he was way more of a threat than their running backs.
Their long punt return in the 2H almost cost us the game, ugh. I was wondering if Flintoff was trying to pooch it to open space. Whatever, we had no one on that half of the field.
Watching our secondary try to cover fast receivers is pretty scary.
